.SH DESCRIPTION
.B CryptoTE
is a text editor based on the popular Scintilla editing widget. It can
save sensitive text data in container files using strong encryption.  This way
private data cannot be read by other possibly malicious programs on a
system. The editor uses the wxWidgets cross-platform user-interface library.

Display a short help text on the command line parameters.

\fB\-L \fI<str>\fR, \fB\--lang\fR=\fI<str>\fR
Set language for messages and locale. Example: de or en_GB.

\fB\-p \fI<str>\fR, \fB\--pass\fR=\fI<str>\fR
Use the given password to decrypt the initially loaded container. Note that the
password will be visible to other users through \fBps\fR. If this parameter is
not given, the password will be queried interactively.

Start stand-alone password generator dialog instead of the editor.

List subfiles in container.

Decrypt subfile <num> and output it to stdout.

\fB\-e \fI<num>\fR, \fB\--edit\fR=\fI<num>\fR
Edit subfile <num> using the default (console) editor. The editor is defined by
the environment variable $EDITOR, which is set by the distribution. Note that
the contents of the subfile is first written to a temporary file. Other
applications can also read this temporary file while it is edited. Use the
built-in graphical editor for higher security.

Start a simple command line shell to list / edit subfiles in loaded container.
